The bus network in the Bay of Arcachon South Urban Community (COBAS) is called Baïa

Useful information about the Baïa network

The Baïa network serves the 4 municipalities of COBAS, namely Arcachon, La Teste-de-Buch, Gujan-Mestras and Le Teich. The network consists of:

  • 8 regular lines
  • 1 express line providing the shuttle between Arcachon station (railway) and the Dune du Pilat (July - August only)
  • 8 city-center shuttles supplementing and refining the network of services Night service on Saturday evening
  • 3 types of on-demand services (see on-demand transport page)
  • A sea bus connecting Le Moulleau, the Thiers jetty and Petit port in July and August (provided by the UBA)

Useful information

With a Baïa single ticket costing €1, you can take the local train between Arcachon and Le Teich. SNCF accepts Baïa tickets.

Application MyBusThe MyBus app is a very practical travelling companion in the south of the Bay of Arcachon. By downloading the free app, available for iOS and Android, you can consult times, geolocate the nearest stop and plan your route.

Advantage: bus tickets may be purchased directly from the application. MyBus converts your ticket into a virtual M-ticket. Once it has been downloaded to your telephone, validate it when boarding a bus by flashing the QR code.
